History

A: 1879 Back of St-Anne de Sorel church

B: 1921 Enlargement of the cemetery near the oldest just behind. Back of St-Anne de Sorel

Blessing of the cemetery of a size 100 by 100 feet deep on July 8, 1879. A polished granite monument was erected in memory of the parents of Major Paul in September.

The factory has built a concrete mass grave in 1914. It bought land to enlarge the cemetery of two acres. This one was full. The new cemetery is from the land of Napoleon Latraverse. Mgr Bernard blessed the new part of the cemetery in 1921.
