Fanny Fosbrooke née le 15 janvier 1845, fille d'Edmund Fosbrooke capitaine et d'Augustine Adèle Penton, la famille descendait d'Edward 111 et venait du Manoir Ravenstone Hall dans le comté de Derbyshire en Angleterre. Elle était mariée à Edward Dugley Montgomery le 6 juin 1881 au Christ-Church à Sorel. Fanny Fosbrooke Montgomery est décédée le 3 février 1912 à St-Simon de Bagot son service est chantée dans l’église anglicane de St-Simon de Bagot et son corps fut inhumé dans le cimetière protestant de Sorel. Fanny Fosbrooke et Edward Dugley Montgomery ont eu une fille Augustina Henrietta Montgomery née le 1 septembre et baptisée le 29 octobre 1882 au Christ-Church à Sorel. Augustina Henrietta Mongomery était mariée à Grant Harley Gordon le 28 juillet 1902 dans le comté de York en Ontario. Elle a fait un don d’une croix en laiton pour honorer la mémoire de sa mère Fanny Fosbrooke à l'église anglicane de Sorel au mois de décembre 1929.
