Biography

William Flemming, capitaine de bateau, né le 5 mars 1806 à Androssan North Ayrshire, Scotland, marié à Fanny Hamilton, à l'église presbytérienne St-Gabriel de Montréal, en 1844. Il a été capitaine de barge sur la rue Adélaïde à Sorel, en 1871. Son épouse Fanny Hamilton est décédée le 24 février 1887 à Sorel.

Dans le recensement de 1861, William Flemming marin, et son épouse Fanny Hamilton son épouse, demeuraient sut le lot 479 situé sur la rue Adélaïde dans une petite maison de bois.

Necrology

William Flemming, décédé le 8 mars 1878 âgé de 72 ans. Inhumé dans le cimetière protestant de Christ-Church à Sorel.
