Necrology
Joseph Thomas Peckham ou Packham charpentier né vers 1774 à Westminster à Londres en Angleterre et il ne sait jamais marier. Il a été commis et marguillier à l'église protestante du Christ-Church à Sorel soit de 1823 à 1834. Peckham a été à plusieurs reprises témoins dans les contrats de mariages, baptêmes et de sépultures de la paroisse Christ-Church à Sorel. John Thomas Peckham a oeuvré comme charpentier avec Peter Baillie à Sorel. Il a demeuré chez Joseph Thomson dans la ville de William Henry (Sorel) en 1831. Il a vendu sa concession à John Carter le 21 août 1834. Peckham a fait un testament et a nommé John Carter écuyer son exécuteur testamentaire le 21 août 1834. Il est décédé et inhumé le 22 août 1834 dans le cimetière protestant à Sorel situé au coin des rues Charlotte et Denis. John Carter écuyer était son curateur et a fait l'inventaire des biens de John Thomas Peckham le 2 septembre 1834 tous les contrats passés devant le notaire Henry Crebassa à Sorel.
