Libert Chandler baptisé le 23 mars 1836 à Bishops Castle, Shropshire, UK, fils de William Berkeley et d'Ellen Chandler, marié à Marian Holmes, fille de Marius et de ?, le 5 juillet 1862 à la Cathédrale de Canterbury.
Il a oeuvré comme arpenteur le 9 avril 1860 au Bas-Canada. On le retrouve dans le recensement de 1861 à Goderich en Ontario. Il a travaillé comme ingénieur à Ste-Cécile du Bic dans le comté de Rimouski en 1871. Libert Chandler était écuyer et ingénieur dans le comté de l'Assomption en 1872. Après le décès de sa fille Frances Chandler le 13 novembre 1872 à Sorel., Il déménageait à Montréal comme assistant ingénieur en 1873. Il quittait le Canada avec sa famille pour émigrer à Salem en Virginie vers 1880. Libert Chandler et son épouse Marian Holmes sont décédés tous les deux à Salem City, Virginie, États-Unis.
Necrology
Section 12 Plan du vieux cimetière protestant de Sorel 1822. Il était situé sur la rue Charlotte. Frances Chandler du 12 novembre 1872 et inhumée le 13 novembre au Christ-Church à Sorel.
