Biography
Fourth Window "Sleeping in Jesus Jane Dies Nelson aged 79 years died Sept. 3rd 1846 also her daughter Elizabeth Nelson aged 69 years died July 15th 1869".

Necrology
Williams Nelson, né vers 1750 à Newsham Angleterre, instituteur. Il commença à enseigner au Yorkshire en Angleterre, puis à Londres jusqu'en mai 1781. Par la suite émigre au Canada et s'établit à Trois-Rivières, et y ouvre une école. Il se marie le 24 mai 1785 à Sorel à Jane Dies, fille de G.Dies d'Hudson (River) New-York, et fonde, en 1790, une autre école, à Montréal. En 1794, il quitte Montréal pour s'établir à Williams Henry (Sorel), comme instituteur. Il est nommé syndic de l'Église Anglicane Christ-Chuch. Les époux Nelson décèdent tous les deux à Sorel, Williams le 13 juin 1834 à l'âge de 83 ans, et Jane le 3 septembre 1846.
