Gee Yong Thong né en Chine « Gee Yun Tong, un chinois employé dans une buanderie rue Augusta, est mort presque subitement mardi matin. Après enquête du coroner Fleury, le jury a rendu le verdict suivant : Mort de syncope du coeur causée par anémie. Il a été inhumé dans le cimetière protestant de Sorel » La Gazette de Berthier le 26 février 1904. Archives Nationales du Québec . Son corps fut exhumé le 12 août 1916 et retourné en Chine et présent à l'enterrement des chinois et une signature en Chinois.
